Ugly “Sales Letter” Video for Lead Generation
Three of these videos were shot at a live workshop where at a break, the attendees were asked to give a short comment about what they were learning and would they recommend it to others in their field. These videos are then used on the landing page / sales page that promotes and sells subsequent workshops and conferences. These video testimonials help build trust and credibility for someone visiting the sales page “cold”. The 4th video (bottom right) is actually an audio testimonial converted to a video with the transcript of the audio on the screen. It too is used on a sales page along with other video testimonials, to sell a training program. The first 3 videos are simple, not fancy, and because of their basic production value, feel authentic for someone watching them.
